The strategic session will be devoted to antibiotic resistance problem that has recently become worldwide. Presentations made by Russian and foreign scientists will dwell on the current challenges faced by the medical community in treatment of infectious diseases in Russia and the entire world. Data will be presented on the pathogens, included into the WHO priority pathogens list, and their genetic profiles causing resistance to antimicrobial drugs, as well as the role of reference centers in ensuring biosecurity in the Russian Federation.
Focus will be made on the development of technologies for quick identification and assessment of the response spectrum shown by infectious agents to antimicrobial drugs.
Foreign speakers will present the experience of Burkina Faso and China in combating antimicrobial resistance.
Strategic Session “Innovations and Priorities in Diagnosis and Treatment of Infections” will take place from 16:10 until 19:00.

Biological safety is another urgent problem that will be in focus. In today's world, predicting biological threats associated with the emergence of epidemics and pandemics is impossible without development of artificial intelligence.
